Avenue Q.

your story makes you amazing.
because every story is unique.

just got home from avenue Q.
w babe, sam and khai.
had a really amazing time.
it may be child's play in the eyes of many,
but the issues brought up is real,
the cast is talented
and the story centers around strong messages.(:

1. don compare , because everyone's life sucks. it's a matter of perception
2. everyone is somewhat racist. admit it. be aware of it and don't discriminate
3. don judge, homosexuality is not a crime. embrace it.
4. when you give, you help yourself.
5. there's no clear distinction in life,
it's a fine line between many things.
love and friendship, right and wrong.
6. purpose is purposeful in itself. so live in the present.
7. and love yourself (:

of course there's many more things mentioned... along the lines of sexuality and technology.
it's really one of the best musicals I've caught so far.
I love stories that teaches.

not all musicals are there for one to awe about the singing or the props.
it's the substance, the story and the value.

tonight's cast was small
limited props and 'puppetry' in the eyes of many,
but to me, my date and the many others in e audience,
it was a performance worthy of a standing ovation,
an extremely talented team,
and one w deep substance.

I had a really wonderful experience.
thanks hon, for bringing this to me,
another milestone we accomplish!

nights world (:
