throw back Tuesday. ( bdae 1 )

I am once again sitting on e couch and waiting for the boy to come out from his shower.
and the heart is palpitating again:(
I suspect it's e antibiotics,
or is it the stress level?
I don know,
but I'm seriously very sick of this feeling. sighs

I know I promised to do a post on the 25th birthday!
I'm just thinking where should I start,
and how far a throw back I should go.

perhaps I should start with the lunar birthday!

this year, the lunar birthday is 1 week apart with the actual Birthday on the 5th.

as tradition, I will alwys get to pick where I want to have dinner,
and with years of experience,
I learned that its always wiser to choose a place that Papa loves to eat too,
and thus we made a booking at SWA garden down at McPherson.

now, please really DO NOT confuse this with the SWA TOW restaurant at Toa payoh.

SWA GARDEN's food is Wayy better!
it's a really old place,
I can't describe it better enough,
except that,
imagine a small place with white colored utensils , pink table cloth,
red velvet chairs and only one small door and no windows.

but this place is always always packed no matter when we visit,
and thankfully we manage to secure a booking on Good Friday , albeit a SUPER grouchy receptionist. ( I told myself to really just ignore, cause I love the food there!!)

in a honesty, I'm Cantonese. so naturally I'm your regular tzi char, double boiled soup lover.
but.. I also happen to looooovvvveee
teochew GOOSE meat , fish maw soup and yam paste!! ( slurpp)

so here's what we had:

fish maw soup,
crayfish balls
teochew goose meat
baby's favorite vege with Bian yu
(anchovies like fish)
and
Yam paste .

I thought I miss out something..
but nevermind! let the photos show:

oh, and how can i forget,
one red packet from papa lam :)

on a side note,
after dinner, I went back to b's place
and you know I kinda teared because I miss my parents!! (IKR!)

I just suddenly thought of how last year
daddy made red eggs and mian xian for my birthday supper,
and this year I'll be away from them ( just that I'm at tampines), I just felt odd.

still, in e end, I went back to honey's place and DID WORK till 4 am,
and guess what!

the boy made me yummy noodles.
it's instant noodles,
but the soup base is boiled with ikan bilis (sic: MSG -free ) and a yummy egg!
so yeah,
I guess it made up for it quite a bit!
