Sunday.
another day for me to supposedly unwind.
but I am going to do work,
and I am so definitely going to enjoy this process. ( Note to self)
On a happier note,
the boy is coming over to join the family for dinner.
April has definitely been a good month,
I wonder how is it that I can still have so much money left in my bank account, considering that it's the last week before pay day.
and I realized why...

for a moment, I thought I was getting better at saving even more.
right now its just the bare minimum.
Next Month, I will try harder! ( for sure.)
Okay, and so I have so many random thoughts on my mind now,
I don't know am I going to structure them properly.
and I had no intention of talking about money when I launched my blogger this afternoon, but since we're at it.. here goes.
and so I received my first income tax bill. I have only been working slightly more than a year, and I got taxed. Not that I am complaining, its my way of giving back to my country right? Just feel a lil sad that my hard earned money gets deducted away. But then again, there's this saying in chinese..
"Take from society, so give back to society. " - no arguements there!
Yesterday was another day spent at home, furiously buried in work. The babe came by in the afternoon and helped me alleviate some of them! He said that it is date night, and he's going to bring me out for my favorite French - Masons down at Gilman Barracks.
He made a reservation at 8pm ( becuase of my work again... ) but in e end, the cab right took us longer than usual, and he decided that we should just stop at 2fifteen - which turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
There was a 1 - 1 main promotion with CitiBank Card and so we got for ourselves,
lobster bisque ( best I had so far) , escargot on toast ( super delicious , and the buttery taste is not too overwhelming due to the brillance of serving it atop the bread.) seafood penne in tomato herb sauce ( 4 of each of the following: prawns, clams, cod fish ) and his $40 main - lamb loin! )
ps: Mine was really more filling at $20. :P
** Last Friday Night **
Last friday night, I took my best friend out for dinner at Shunjuu by Robertson Quay , and she took me out for dessert!
It's her birthday see, and I can't help but feel a tinge of excitement, since this time next year she'll be married!!
Babe has very graciously give me a night off with my bestie on Friday!
We hang out till like 11pm?
Wanted to head out for drinks,
but we just had too much at Laurent's

Talking about Laurent, another name that I thought I can named my girl. Discussed with b, and he really kinda like Clare more . Okay, I am just saying if I get another girl.

Last night, babe and I made an impromptu stop at The Cathay , enroute to MBS,
and decided that we will go catch identiy thief!
Super NICE show. ( that's besides the point)
The point here is..
since babe and I still have 30 minutes to kill before the 11pm show,
we decided to check out Shoe Rebel.
Their shoes are so cute!!
All hand crafted in Ethiopia,
and just super comfortable.
Got the nude one for work ( cause its versatilie)
and received a 10% off, for this $79 pair of shoes.
Still quite worth it, since my crocs is wearing off already.
So I am quite happy really! since I originally really really wanted to get a pair of heels down at Tangs, but because of my busy schedule, the mall will have already closed by the time we finished dinner on the past 3 weekends.
Oh.. do your purchase change with age?
I think for the bf yes.
He has at least 5 pairs of functional work shoes?
He is still looking to buying another one.
That's an average of 2 shoes per season since he started work.
Too much!!
But okay la, he deserves it. - "shoe whore" - ( okay maybe that's only partly me)
