i used to be able to survive with just 4 hours per day,
but I'm totally zombified even after 6 hours of sleep,
I think it's a student thinggie
and now my eyes' tearing after helping babe w math.
I'm just really not that apt w math . =p
right now reading in detail on the hot-dog bun recipe that Ms Zelda translated for me.
I'm thinking of making them this holiday together the boy.
the thought of making my favorite hot dog bun ourselves is so exciting!
made mushroom and seafood soup
last afternoon for the boy who was feeling sick.
I melted some butter and stir fried some garlic before adding in the mix with some crab meat.
when the water boils,
I add in an egg which thickens the soup considerably.
served with toast and butter,
and viola,
a simple treat on a rainy afternoon.
disclaimer : I did not prepare the soup from scratch, I used the premium Campbell mushroom and seafood soup mix and adjusted the taste accordingly.
Instead of putting in just 1 can of water, I used 2 can instead, so it won't be too salty.
even debbie says I have a flair! (lol)
this afternoon,
babe came to fetch me from school,
and we decided to explore the west.
ran a search,
and visited KAZ, at Rochester Mall.
It's jap-fusion,
and it's really really reasonably priced.
best thing is , it's right beside two-fifteen,
so one can just drop by and have chocolate fondant!
this rainbow row is only $17.80,
but we have salmon, swordfish, tuna and tempura !
do hope more people will visit them instead of fawning over the western and jap food at star vista :)
on mother's day,
babe and I took the family out for dinner w uncle J.
we went to Moi Lum,
and surprisingly, that day's dinner was superbly good.
we had cold platter,
fish maw soup, roast chicken,
prawn balls, vege w mushroom,
mee sua, mummy's favorite yam basket andddd my favorite mango pudding!
dinner only cost $288 for 9 of us!
sis with her childhood best friend. now both 22, how time flies.
I had a good week so far.
and I'm
so tired !! yawns
[ Mother's Day.
I went to visit grandma and grandpa alone.
the tears can't stop falling.
grief,
do not just diminish.
Mother's Day,
and the table next to us sat an elderly lady with her son and daughter in law.
daddy's eyes well up w tears and his face flushed w emotions.:(
Mother's Day ,
a day when people remember how they won't be where they are today without the people who brought them into this world .
everyday should be parents day,
but occasions like these,
remind one to give our thanks,
I did.
have u? :) ]
