Week 2.

Week 2 of 4 of our holiday together.
Is it the end of another week already?
this week I concluded my official commitments.
the bonuses came in.
and it's time to celebrate.

As I'm writing this, babe is in the toilet,
writing his own diary.
I insisted on playing my jukebox,
even if it meant that it'll disrupt his inspiration.

The first friday morning for a long while that
I spent without him.
I went down to Paris Baguette to have brunch with my favorite colleague - Wei Li.

I don't know whats up with me, but this is my 3rd visit in 2 weeks,
same for canton-i.
I guess when I liked something, I really can keep visiting that place until I get sick of it.

Brunch was really good,
I have never tried PB's brunch,
and for $18, it was really hearty.
The scrambled eggs was soft without being too watery,
and the bread was just too awesome.
I am someone that can't stand brunch places that serves toasts that are overly crunchy for my liking.

We tea-ed down over at TCC,
before hoping to do some shopping.
I didn't take the pictures here,
but I bought babe a new cardigan from addidas.
I know right, it's addidas, but it's really nice!
I'll upload a pic of him in it later.

So, babe came and pick me up at 2.30 and we down to STRIP for my full leg waxing.
we snapped 2 singapore training tee ready for the match this wednesday over at Weston, Peninsula
and then we went back to Tangs to get my latest 2 additions to my personal vanity trove.
I got back the chanel's eyeliner for me to touch up my eye on, since it's really much handier to carry around in a wallet, but I'll definitely still use my bobbi brown as my base.

my latest excitement is definitely Lancome's Mascara. I figure it's time to ditch my Chanel's mascara having lusted for Lancome for quite awhile.  I have personally experience Lancome's magic @ prom a few years back and I now hope this toy will not disappoint. Lancome's Hypnose :) - I'll try this baby tomorrow.

Dinner was back at Shunjuu today. At our favorite place by the river. - Robertson Quay.
It was an extremely early dinner, we were there at 6pm today!
That's a far cry from the last time, where we had to wait for like an hour before we got seated.

Shunjuu serves really decent authentic japanese grill.
It's definitely not the whatever stuff we get at Taka's, Ion and Bugis's basement, whereby all the sauces are the same?
Overhere, every single stick is unique in its flavor.

My personal favorite? - This :

Can you see the juice from the chicken stuffed mushroom?

If you are to ask me, do I have a dream. maybe, once some time ago,I will say no.
I'm too practical, I only hope for things.
The difference between a "wish" and a "hope" is that, hope is something relatively more achievable.

For me, I love this place. The pier @ Robertson quay.
I need not live here,
I just have this dream -
that one day I will own a place with a HUGE rectangular balcony.
I can place my sun - chairs by, or spread my tatami mats on,
a place I can place a bbq pit and invite my friends over to chill on NYE.
Our windows will open to a river
and I can just feel the warmth of the sun shining down on me every single morning.
that's my dream place.

We may not be capable of doing that now,
maybe, one day, when we retire,
we'll be able to do that.

Us, in a little unit by the river.
that cuppa in the  morning by that cafe with our papers and books,
get a little crazy cheering over soccer,
a little of that booze on that special occasion,

just us, and our last sunset together.

[ I saw this over at STRIP today, while my waxing was on-going, and I thought it was real cute.
Breathe and we'll walk through all treacherous road come what may.
Tomorrow we'll go for a walk to the Tree-Top Walk,
I can hardly wait. :)

PS:  I can sense that all my loccitane is being used up from the smell that is emitted from the bathroom and I am writing this no matter how you are going to defend your crime.!

Nights world.
I pray that grandma is fine. =S  ]
