Right now I am at a primary school attending our upcoming camp briefing and feeling really hyped
despite being having to travel 1.5 hours to this part of the island. This time around, we are working with kids with special needs, and despite all the trepidation, and the additional planning required. I'm really quite psyched, especially when it comes with working with the volunteers from the colleges. So young! :)
Spent monday night at babe's, doing the final touches to the assignments. We spent Tuesday on our new Wii and grocery shopping for the charity drive hosted by the Boys Brigade. I guess I really do want to emphasize on this really meaningful activity, especially since daphne herself dedicate a huge part of her time to the works of the boys brigade.
I just want to say that, if we have time and money to spend on ourselves, we can spent some on those that need it more.
BB used to sell a standard package at a fixed price. This year, BB accepts all sorts of donation, even if it is just a can of milo. It'll be another month worth of milo for a family. I'm just really proud of babe for introducing this to me and I thank you for your generosity.
Last night, I met up with Alpha females.
We had din tai fung, and I brought the girls to the very lovely Paris Baguette.
The alpha 1 bought all of us something from aussie, and the boy got 1 too! more importantly, I've gotten a box of the very lovely Twinnings Chamomile Tea.! I can't wait to sip it.
I've always love our time out together, and I can't wait for more when Tong is back from the States next week. :)
I think by next year, her condo will be ready, and we can spend her vacation sun tanning by the pool!.
Just a random: this fat lizard dropped into our glass beaker during experimental class ytd.
Lastly, this is such a touching song. I shared this with sissy, and she laughed at me for being so OUT. Like seriously.. I just don't catch up on the Chinese entertainment scene that so often =_=. But this is such a beautiful song, I teared when babe introduced this to me.
