Happy 18th Months!!!!

While she looking through her work and focusing on the assignment she has in hand, I shall write my rare blog entry. hehe. It has been some time since I last blog, blogging hasn't really been my habit, especially for someone with no flair for writing, unlike my wifey who writes beautiful line and poem, my poems and whatever not tend to be funny and sometime senseless. But it's ok:)) Cos I know she appreciates it right?? (P.S I finish the animation already!!)

18 wonderful months has just flew past us. Like I said in sleepybird's card, it's not a very long time but I sure I will remember every single of this happy moments (and some disagreement) even when I turn senile one day. I'm sure you will too. I look forward to every single one of this fridays that we spend together. It might not always be spectacular but every one of them mean something to me cos every friday or at least 99% of friday are our date night. I love date nights, the food, the show, the songs and even the silliness.

Last Friday was a special one. 18 months.. So fast right dear? Like what people always say; Good time always past so fast. It never seems enough. Even if I have another 1800 months with you, I also dun think it'll ever be enough. For the first time, the 2 of us went to try spanish food. Being a spendthrift, I will never save on such occasion and wala... I chance upon this new spanish restaurant at 20 Craig Road, Binomio. Introduce in both 8days as well as The Straits Times, the restaurant is not officially open yet, so I had some reservation on the quality and type of food available. But come on, Santi's chef shouldn't be too bad right? and it really wasn't bad at all. In fact, it was..... PERFECTO!!!! 

The appetizing olive for free. Not my cup of tea though. I dun eat olive. 

 So as usual, dinner on date night will always come with wine:) This wine was really good and light.

 Freebies again!!! This was awesome. It a croquette with mutton inside it. Really tender and sort of melts in ur mouth:)

 Look at this beautiful octopus leg. It cooked to perfection. Retain the taste of the sea and at the same time tender and the potato puree was a perfect match especially with the bread

 This is the soup! potato with leek and prawn and some other stuff. A little too salty but the freshness was good and everything was a good match together

The main on the right was mine!!! Lamb shoulder with some pumkin and truffle. the lamb was tender and has a crispy layer of skin:) The left is the fish. cooked to perfection. First time my wifey finish a main faster than me!!

This was the masterpiece. DESERT!!!!! cinnamon ice cream that for the first time I enjoyed. Bread fried with milk.. IT'S OMG!!!! and the pistachio. It's just orgasmic man!!!


So ppl who are looking at the blog post please go down and try this food. and I'm sure u can feel the happiness we felt for out 18th monthniversary:)
