quite perfect

And so last week I promise myself and ourselves that we'll have a date. like a proper one, where shops don't close on us,
where we will get to do everything that we want.

and while, nope we did not get myself a massage or a staycation or a stay over at his place,
We got this:

we both slept in till like 12
did work tgt till like 6 ish
before leaving the house at 7 to grab dinner at Kilo@pact

You see, we are huge KILO fans and when we knew they opened a branch down at Orchard Central, we thought we ought to give a shot.
Kilo@pact is a collaboration with hairstylist PACT LIM.so basically it is a 3 in 1 concept - Dining. Shopping. Hairdressing all in a store.
The best part ? it can definitely hold bigger crowd than the down at Kallang.

The menu is smaller , however, with an inclusion of an all day break fast menu. not sure if it's a good idea,
seemed kinda all over e place,
but who knows? it might work for the crowd that visits ... not so much for us though, it seemed kinda like complicated ?
we ordered one of our favorite - tuna tatare with avocado. smaller serving but still tastes as good !

Tried the squid ink fettuccini. The ingredients were really fresh! prawns were sweet and the baby squid were chunky. I just thought it's a little overly pepperish for me.
His 12 hour pork belly with purple mash.
hmmm.. this is really quite disappointing compared to the one we had previously some 2 years back ?

The meat was quite tough, mash's a little bland too. Trust me, it's a world's cry apart when previously, the flesh simply melt in one's mouth while the skin manage to mantain it's crispness.

it set us back some $87 and for that kind of price .. we were kinda disappointed:(

I suppose the post dinner activity makes up for that,
in less than an hour
I managed to snap 3 bottoms and 1 top! if I hadn't had self restraint I wld have snag another 3 topsssss!
will definitely be back next month hehe
the cutest part is that the little shop assistant (boy) somemore bow to me and say thank you please come again!!
*swoons* brownie points to return:)

please watch the grand Budapest, it's a really awesome movie! it's like a girl's / child's dream because it's a depiction of a story book come alive!

I guess I'm just really chirpy today because it's been a while since we eat shop and supper tgt.

ps: if you like coconut ice-cream this is really good, with real coconut flesh in it!
we got it at tampiness 1 last night after baseball lesson with Wayne :)

I had a fulfilling weekend, do u?
