My Best Friend's Wedding
and I was maid of honor
and we were emcees for that night.
It was my first time being a 姐妹and a truly unforgettable one.
My main take away?
It is not easy being a sister
but even harder being a bride / groom.
I always wondered how does one feel getting married ?
I think the one word I will use to describe is ..
FOCUS.
You must be very focus,
so that yor schedule runs
and your sisters and brothers can help support you in the process.
The entourage arrived early at 6am.
That's them alright,5 beautiful cars,
6 loyal brothers that were 110% ready to support the couples.
They fetched us everywhere.

but because I wasn't feeling good,
I attacked only the berries!
it's good enough for me:)
we headed back to Concorde for the dinner cum solemnization preparation.
That's the bridal suite !
I chilled down at the helpers' room w the best man,
and I think I converted him to a C.I fan. lol
at 3,
the boy came over with my clothes
and food.
I showered, got my make up done
(generously sponsored by the couple)

while everyone was having fun at the photo booth,
we rehearsed like 4-5 times within the hall
and kept a close watch on the time.

Thank you for your selflessness
for always having a big heart
an open mind
and always having the big picture in mind.
without you by my side,
I couldn't have calmed those nerves of mind,
and because you take care of everything for me,
I can focus on my task.
I know you placed all my events first
sacrificing the time needed for your studies and assignments.

I feel really guilty.
You didn share w me your deadlines,
you stayed at home on Friday w me
dealing w all my tantrums when I fell sick,
waking up at 3 to help me with my dress
and
sending me to yu's place at 4 am.
only after then did you go home to finish as many of ur assignments as possible
before going to the hotel to get me food,
rehearse w me + deal w my high demands as my co-emcee.
stayed over and wake up early to finish ur assignments while I slept till 2 pm.
accompanied me as I did my work til 8,
had dinner w my family,
before heading home.
right now,
you are busy studying for your test tmr,
when you should have had more time earlier last week/ during the weekend if not for me.
baby, you didn have to do any of the above for me if you didn want to.
it's my friend,
but you went above all to go through the whole process with me
and I'm very very thankful for that.
We all struggle some times in life,
and I'm glad we are walking by each other now.
last Saturday I smiled brightly at e end of the night because of all e help you rendered.

when we took stage as a couple

and we gave our best to my best friend:)
because the special people in my life deserves the best of me!
