It has always been my dream to visit Beijing, the Great Wall, the palaces where the emperors once ruled from, to walk on the ruins and grounds where great battles once took place.
Call me boring, but I'm just like that. I like the feeling of threading the paths where the ancients once roam, to just take it all in.
To appreciate the beauty of the architecture, to marvel at the grandeur of the project and how the people of yesteryears lived their life.
In new york. that's where dreams are made of.
the east coast of america is where many of the great wars were fought.
In eastern europe, the communist fought hard to retain its influence while the west fought to garner greater territories.
In shanghai, the rich partied along the bunks while a massacre took place in Nanjing.
I love history. ( reading them)
but what I love most,
is knowing that every building that I visited,
every walls that I touched,
were once blessed by the hands that build it
and has a story to share!
Can't wait for our 8 days adventure across northern china.
