Again, one of the rare nights that I'm on 969 home alone and I just passed by Rolls Royce.
Can't help but thought of the Engine on our Boeing 737 visible right outside my window pane during our return leg.
Man, I missed my vacation.
But coming back to Singapore is nt without it's perks.
My family finally bought our own steamboat gadget.
LOL. about time huh!
as a family, we. love to eat steamboat,
but we just never got around to buying one,
preferring to head out to dine each time.
and so, on the weekend that we're back from vacation my papa decided to prepare steam boat for us.
Im telling you,
I'm so proud of his chicken rice and the SOUP!!
the base was boiled over charcoal since 2pm in e afternoon.
It was really yummy!! Sometimes I can't help but feel so very proud of my creative daddy.
Our spread.
After dinner, we tucked into The Royce choco that auntie Sandy brought over.
I was never truly a great fan of Royce's truffle,
but the wafer and the almond praline truffle is really too good to be missed!
and .. the highlight was none other than the fact that b came and stay over after dinner.
babe, this is really adorable. I can't resist it:)
We spent our Monday catching 6 episodes of HK drama ( we originally planned to go to the gym and have breakfast ) lolll
but at least we accomplish one thing on our agenda! - we went in search of Portuguese egg tarts!
and we found these pretty delish ones at 198 Tanjong Katong Road.
It's a mere 15 mins walk from Dakota station and near TKGS:)
Couldn't help but snagged 14 for the families.
A close up on them. we sat outside the shop and munch on 2 before taking 10 back to Mama Chan for dinner :)
It was pretty nice. The crust is warm and fluffy and I like that the egg curd is not overly sweet but still fragrant:))
Do give them a try!
