Marriage.
This Sunday afternoon, I woke up to daddy's cooking.
It's been a long while since he cooked on a sunday,
and whatsmore a dish that grandma that always cook on the first day of Chinese New Year.
I know a part of him still miss grandma like hell loads.
and I'm perfectly fine with it, it's only natural right?
Chinese New Year is like less than a week away,
and I wasn't even remotely aware of it.
until babe and I join the family to chinatown last night do I realize that yesterday is the LAST weekend before CNY. gosh!
I was just so caught up with work
that I didn't even have time to go shopping, not that there is a real need for it of course.
And so, while I was waiting for lunch today,
I decided to surf my pinterest.
and I saw a few interesting stuff on the White Day:)
I mean babe and I are not tying the knot any time soon,
but it's in our playing cards.
but i can't help but feel excited, especially since receiving the engagement invite from Billy and Alex. :)
Oh.. and that $20 bridesmaid dress's dream that I had the night before. =P
[ I can still remember it being baby blue,with a cut-out design at my waist. lolll too much online shopping..]
Anyways I have always envision a proposal first, before applying for our house, engagement party and then our wedding dinner.
If I can have it my way, I will make it a small and simple one with all my loved ones.
OUTSIDE of a hotel ballroom.
But I figure, if my family, including the extended family, it's not possible.
which brings me back to this! :
I thought it'll be quirky thing to place alongside our wedding favors,
and it'll probably be nice to laugh at the answers after the dinner! ( what do you think ? ;) )
The other day, babe liked this picture on polliwogs.
and I felt so touched.
I mean he doesn't use like the social media much,
but when he does little actions like this
without telling me,
i feel like I am reading an inner part of him,
and its like confetti flying =P

it's been a long time since I last wrote to you at the bottom of my page.
I know you came a long way,
from being out with your mates till 4 a.m,
where were those days of my life too?
it seemed all too surreal now.
I love all those times we picker over the smallest thing ( like fighting to wash the dishes or to get another bowl of curry or to get the bill. )
I love how everyone who met you loves you.
I love the nights we spend pretending to be CNA newscaster and failed horribly,
or those when we just sit on the couch and stare at the tv and not moving an inch! ( okays, that's me)
I love your teh-o limau ice.
It's THE best that I have ever tried.
I love the principles that you on so strongly.
I love how you always give in to me in the end=P
I love how we can sit down and plan our crazy future holidays.
Whatever happened to our plans to watch world cup at Brazil??
( or am I the one that scrap the idea? )
and Babe,
no matter how many times I tell you how very lame you are,
how you are sometimes soooo overly protective,
i just love watching the funny antics you perform for me!
and every single bit of YOU.
i'll love your weird snores,
your bugs bunny teeth
and strawberry tongue.
But!
what will make me even happier
is that you are happy.
that you will be healthy and have SO MUCH REST.
that will make me HAPPIEST.
because I want to walk with my best-friend for the rest of my life.
