Girlfriends and my best waffle experience

Right now the boy is getting his hair cut at the Cathay, an impromptu decision since we are caught in a thunderstorm and we needed to kill time before Exodus.

I woke up early this morning to meet Val for brunch and to do some Christmas shopping. The best part of the holiday, I suppose is that it is a perfect time to meet up with the girlfriends without having to feel guilty of not doing work.

I met up with the Alphas last Wednesday and we had Lobster Roll down at Clifford Pier.

They are really freaking awesome ! I just can't get enough of it. The warm, soft and fluffy bun that carefully wraps the sweet lobster meat is just oh so delicious!
The truffle fries that came along w the dish was a classy combination:)
and the best part? I think it's the first time in 13 years I feel that Yvonne actually went to research and suggest a location. loll
Dessert was down at Jalan Kilut at Revelry.
We had its classic waffle with a scoop of vanilla ice cream

I am not exaggerating here, but it is really the BEST waffle I've had in a while. I absolutely adore everything about it from the airy and fluffy dough to the maple drizzle. I really appreciate how thoughts were placed into making the waffle less dense? I usually can't finish any waffle ice cream, but for Revelry's? I can eat one all by myself . It is just THAT GOOD.
(I'm bringing the bf down tonight to try and he will be definitely be won over , I'm sure)
We also ordered the wings which came in generous portions.- ideal for sharing between 3 -5 friends, depending on how hungry one can be
The tiramisu in a pot is on the house by the kind owner Jia Yi.
I'm usually not  a tiramisu kind of girl ,
( even though my dad reminded me it's the only cake I like when I young - hence suggesting I'm a closet alcoholic)
Anws,  I always find tiramisu that I've had either too sweet or too bitter or worse still too moist till the extend of being mushy.

Revelry's has a good balanced of rum, the mousse has a good spring to it and I definitely did not find myself choking on the chocolate powder - which I usually do =|

Well, I don't think it's on the menu yet but I certainly hope it will!
It's a new start up, not one of your chained cafe under different names ,
manned by a humble boss
whose only concern is maintaining the consistency of the food his cafe delivers.

Definitely worthy of many more visits !
Ps: Prices are friendly on the pocket too:)
