Saturday -

okay, so it's Saturday and I'm on my way down to snip my tresses off.

okay, a part of me is pretty reluctant about doing so because it took me so long to allow it to grow to this length. But it's a sunny day,  and I'm tired of people telling me that I look exhausted. I want to look fresh and as 'young' as vibrant as before and so I thought I'll snip some of it off such that I'll get a short pony tail instead of a long long one.

Today is just a day that I really want to do what I want since I'm finally feeling better after falling ill ytd. - totally thrown me off my plans of afternoon tea + cut hair + shopping. I'm going to do it all today and I'm not going to compromise it for anyone or anything and to be honest, I'm very excited for dinner tonight! I've been wanting to go there since forever!

[BUT I'm feeling rather annoyed now. I'm stuck in a humid train and  listening in to a detailed description of the story of Hercules or games of thrones between this 2 guys. Can they nt continue already !! I don't want to know...]

Well, I guess I should continue with where the boy and I went for his birthday after the massage session.

I brought him  for a vegetarian meal down at Real Food and I got him sold on their wonton soup! it's really fragrant and we love their salad too!

After lunch, we walked back down to Chinatown Point and took a bus to Ayer Rajah to give a shot at HomeRun!

It's a very liberating experience for me since it's my first time on softball whatsmore with a personal coach:

the downside? My arms were aching like crazy over the next few days and I had some nasty bruise on my arm.

dinner was back down at Seah Im, I had my favorite Char Kway Teow- the same one that I used to have with the peeps during the Varsity volunteering days. How time flies, back then it cost only $2? now it's like $2.50, but still as good!

the boy had Ayam Penyet from another stall and it tastes surprisingly as good as the supposedly famous one :

and we ended our night at Vivo, just aimlessly window shopping before grabbing a pack of our favorite Honey Baked Chips from M&S:)

I remember the first time I tried this was when mom bought it for me some time when I was in secondary school?
10 years on and it's still as awesome.

alrighty my train is finally reaching doby. I think if I'm going to stay on this train any longer , I'll faint. and Yayyy I can stop listening in on the yabs of 2 guys.

so this is what guys talk about when silences are awkward : tv shows, friends' weddings and work place politics. :)
